Tile??? or Paper???

Here is a fun and really easy project I made using my 3-D Crystal Lacquer Clear and 3-D Crystal Lacquer Metallic Bronze.

Paint your wood frame with Black Acrylic paint and let dry.

Cut Pattern Card stock into random shapes - Not too small... Adhere to your frame in a random pattern. leave space between each of the shape to look like grout lines.

See how I leaf room between each of my paper tiles...

Add your 3-D Crystal Lacquer to each of the paper tiles. I like to go around the edge of the paper tile and fill in the middle. You really only need a small amount on Crystal Lacquer for each paper tile. Set Aside to dry... I let mine dry over night...

After my Clear Crystal Lacquer is dry I filled in all the spaced between each of my paper tiles with my 3-D Crystal Lacquer Metallic Bronze. It's it cool looking...

This will be my last post before Christmas. I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season and I would love to see some of your amazing projects using Crystal Lacquer.. Remember to leave me some love and Like us on facebook...

it's all in the embellishments!

Here is a fun, easy and cheap embellishment. You can purchase or recycle a bottle cap.

First thing you need to do is flatten your bottle cap. You can do this in many different ways. I use my Sixxiz machine to flatten mine.

Next you want to stamp an image or use a sticker that will fit inside of your bottle cap. I used a snowflake stamp here. and a 1" circle punch to punch out the shape

Add a very small amount of 3-D Crystal Lacquer to the inside of the bottle cap. Very little this is your adhesive for your stamp image. Set aside for about 5 minutes to set up. I use my finger to make sure there are not air bubbles trap below the image.

First off - VERY sorry this photo is blurry... But I think you see what you need to.
After i let my 3-D Crystal Lacquer dry for a few minutes. I add more 3-D Crystal Lacquer to the top of the image. I start by going around the edge of the image and fill in the center. This works the best for me.
Options: you can add glitter to the wet 3-D Crystal Lacquer if you want. This project I did add some bling...

Here is the finished project I made. Full direction for this will be on my Blog on the 15th of December. This is a winter or Christmas tag, But you can make this embellishment for any project. Thing about the possibilities... Altered books, Scrapbook pages, magnets, ATC, and the list goes on and on......

If you have any questions please let me a comment and I will try my best to answer. But leave us some love.....
