Under the Sea with Video
here is a fun project with two techniques. In this video I will teach you how to make the Cyrstal Lacquer Skin I used in the background of this Mixed Media project and how I made the coral effect across the bottom.
Supplies:
3-D Crystal Lacquer
Color Crystal Lacquer: Blue, Light Blue and Green
Post Card sizes EcoArt Board from Rubberstamp Concepts.
Misc. Sea thyme Die cuts
Coral
Red Line Tape
Black Rub-on Letter - I believe mine are from Ek Success
Teflon sheet
Directions:
Make your Cyrstal Lacquer Skin as seen on Video. (this is a link to my video on youtube)
Adhere your misc sea theme die cuts directly to the EcoArt board to build you scene. after you have built your scene onto your EcoArt board. place your Cyrstal Lacquer skin over the scene, I used a little crystal lacquer to adhere to the background. You do not need to cover the whole skin, just add a small amount of crystal Lacquer to a few area and you should be ok...
After I added my Crystal Lacquer Skin I add more Die Cuts and my Rub-on Letters.
Next I did the Coral section across the bottom of the project. This technique is also shown in the video. Add the red line tape across the bottom of your scene and add your coral and Crystal Lacquer.
Well I hope you enjoy that fun technique and come back for more soon..
