Black Lacquer Gift Box

Why wrap all your gifts in tissue and ribbons?  Make inexpensive Sakura Crystal Lacquer boxes for gift giving! Get started and have your boxes ready for Christmas!

Wouldn't this be the perfect box to give a piece of jewelry in? Maybe a gift card, tickets to the theatre or a special treasure.  I am sure you can think of more to put in this beautiful box.

To make this you will need a small unfinished box (from the craft store), black craft paint, Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer, Terri Sproul Mixers - Gold, dresden foil, buttons, old jewelry pieces, glass beads.

Paint the box black, carefully paint around the lock and hinges, set aside to dry. Paint a the box with Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer to give it the black lacquer look.

Mix Terri Sproul Mixers - Gold with the Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer and paint the top of the box. Let it dry.

Adhere buttons, beads and jewels to the top of the box with Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer.

The final touch for the black lacquer box is a bit of on  dresden foil to the corners of the box.   Now you have a box perfect for gift giving.
